Terms and Conditions

Thank you for using our linen and equipment online rental system. Below are the policies by which we rent items. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by contacting our office at 1-866-615-4636.

Summer Hours are 9am – 7pm: After hours calls are routed directly to our electronic voicemail system which will forward all calls to those on call: please call 1-866-615-4636 with any emergencies.

DELIVERY POLICY:

Normal delivery hours are 10:30am till 4:00pm on your scheduled check in date. In most cases you do NOT need to be present for delivery, we have access to the inside of most units. All linens and towels will be placed on the foot of each respectable bed, all baby equipment will be placed inside the home or condo; beach rental equipment and bikes will be left in a safe place out of the way of the weather. Items may also be placed near the home’s entrance or outdoor shower if we are unable to access the unit. If your delivery has not arrived at the house or condo by 4:00pm, please contact our office at 1-866-615-4636.

DEPARTURE / CHECKOUT PROCEDURES:

Normal pickup routes start at 10:30am and can run as late as 4:00pm. In most cases you do NOT need to be present for pickup/returns.

For linen and towel rentals we ask that you strip all the beds of the white rental sheets and pillowcases and collect up all the towels and place them in the yellow SEASIDE LINEN bags and set the bags at the door for pickup. Please do NOT remove any mattress pads, pillow shams, blankets or any items that belong to the home and place them in the yellow linen bags. The sheets and towels are laundered in one facility and the bedding/household items in another so PLEASE do not mix them up.

For baby equipment, beach rentals and bikes please just return them to the same area you found them when you arrived at the house. Beach rentals and bikes we ask that you hose off any sand that has accumulated during your stay and return them to the same area where they were dropped off.

SATISFACTION POLICY:

We are here to fully guarantee your satisfaction. Upon arrival, we cannot offer refunds, but we will gladly make exchanges for items of comparable value on a one time basis if available. To exchange an item, you must return the item to our office during business hours and pick up your new rental item.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY:

We ask that you give us 7 days prior notice to your arrival date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. Items delivered that are no longer needed or wanted are subject to a $50 delivery and pickup fee. No refunds will me made due to weather conditions, no exceptions!

HURRICANE POLICY:

In the event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER, please call our office to make arrangements to return your rental items to us. NO REFUNDS MADE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

SECURITY POLICY:

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and amoung the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

SEASIDE LINEN & RENTAL COMPANY AND ITS EMPLOYEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR TO THE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR OF YOUR VEHICLE DURING LOADING, UNLOADING, OR TRANSPORTING RENTAL EQUIPMENT. ALL EQUIPMENT IS USED AT LESSEE’S RISK.

The Lessee acknowledges that Lessee has inspected the equipment and has determined that same is in good condition and suitable for the purpose for which it has been leased. The Lessee shall only use the property in the manner for which it is designed and intended to be used. Lessee recognizes that the property is being received AS IS and WITH ALL FAULTS. LESSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTY CONCERNING THE MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE PROPERTY. LESSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER ARISING FROM STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, OR OTHERWISE.

Lessee assumes all responsibility for equipment while out of possession of lessor, and promises to return such equipment to the lessor in as good condition as it was at the effective date of the lease, natural wear from a responsible use expected. Lessee shall be liable for any loss, theft, damage or destruction of leased property. All equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid by the lessee at regular replacement price. All damaged equipment which may be repaired will be repaired by the lessor, on return thereof and the cost for such repairs shall be paid by the lessee. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase price or cost of repairs of such damaged or lost equipment. Scheduled rental rates begin when the equipment leaves our store and continues until returned. Lessee shall indemnify and hold Lessor harmless from any and all claims, damages, or proceedings (including all costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees) related to or arising out of Lessor’s use or possession of the equipment. This equipment shall be used by the Lessee only. This writing contains and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. This lease agreement can only be modified by written agreement signed by both Lessor and Lessee. The Lessee represents that Lessee is at least eighteen (18) years of age and under no disability which will prevent Lessee from entering into this agreement. Lessee agrees not to part with or assign this lease or the equipment without the written consent of Lessor.

LOCAL BEACH ORDINANCES :

ALL beach equipment must be removed by its permitted user on a daily basis from the public beach. ALL items left unattended and remaining on the public beach between 10:00pm and 7:00am will be classified as abandoned property and will be REMOVED and DISPOSED of by the local municipalities. All equipment removed and disposed of will be billed to the lessee at current replacement prices. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GIVEN!

No beach equipment may be placed within a twenty-five (25) foot perimeter of an emergency access or any public beach access point.  All beach equipment shall be set at least twenty (20) feet from any sea turtle nest. No beach equipment shall be placed seaward of a sea turtle nest for a distance of ten (10) feet north and south of a direct line between the sea turtle nest and the Atlantic Ocean.
